Rack 1 Whitetail SystemAugust 17th, 2010

by Team BCQ

Hello Everyone, We are getting a lot of emails and questions here at BCQ TV about the Rack 1 Whitetail System and thought we would take a moment to help explain this great company. Rack 1 has introduced the Ignite Whitetail System, it’s meant to Ignite your herd s genetic potential by supplementing them with right nutrients to be a healthy whitetail which in turn leads to bigger racks.Ignite strips it down to 4 unique phases of the season Condition. Grow. Scout. Hunt. These phases are all vital to the growth of a whitetail and if they are taking in the right amount of protein and other nutrients during those times they will be Healthier and Bigger!

It’s No longer about just attracting deer to your property in passing it’s about growing and holding big healthy deer on your parcel of land. 1 or 1,000 acres it doesn’t matter because if you follow the Ignite system you will have more deer  on your property the entire year.  All the Rack 1 products are meant to be used 365 days a year but are most crucial during their Unique Phase of the year.

Here at BackCountry Quest TV we have been luck enough to kill some big deer in the mid-west and have over 6,000 acres of leases in different states. We strictly follow the Ignite Whitetail System and our deer keep getting bigger and bigger every year…After all a Healthy Deer could mean a BIG deer!!

Rack 1 is having a Pre-Season Special right now with FREE SHIPPING on all orders and is available exclusively online at www.huntrack1.com.

Rack1 Title Sponsor for Season 3 of BCQ TVJune 28th, 2010

by Team BCQ

In a world where hunters work year round to grow monster whitetail bucks because success is measured in inches, Rack One has soared in popularity thanks to IGNITE, the company’s new scientifically engineered and tested whitetail hunting system of premium supplements and attractants.

Rack One’s IGNITE whitetail hunting system is comprised of four phases and five products. In the condition phase, Overload is the post-season calorie-consumption feed that helps your bucks recover from the strenuous schedule of fighting, chasing and breeding. In the grow phase, Xcellerator is packed with minerals and nutrients that promote herd health and maximizes antler growth. In the scout phase, Chaos is the delicious treat that brings the elusive Booners to your trail cams. In the hunt phase, Rut Fuel is the premium year-round attractant that whitetails just can’t resist, and Acorn Crush brings the madness of acorn attraction to the feeding frenzy at the foot of your stand. Like the products themselves, strong branding and distinctive packaging distinguish Rack One from its competition.

“BACKCOUNTRY QUEST TV” BRINGS HOME ITS FIRST TELLY AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING OUTDOOR PROGRAM
Grayling, MI ‐ BackCountry Quest TV is pleased to announce that our program, airing exclusively on Sportsman Channel in the United States, and Wild TV all across Canada, is a recipient of a 2010 Telly Award for Outstanding Outdoor Television Production.
The Telly Awards, one of the most sought‐after awards by industry leaders, from large international firms to local production companies and ad agencies, was founded in 1978. Honoring the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the web, has since been their main objective. All entries are judged against a high standard of merit while focusing on a strong distinction of creative work.
Now in its 3rd season on air, BCQ TV can add this highly coveted award to the list. In 2008, BCQ’s 1st season on the air, the show was nominated as one of three Fan Favorite Shows for the Sportsman Channel Awards. Throughout each and every episode, viewers are taken on a true Quest. Whether the show is set in some of the most remote bush country in the world or in the heartland of America, each episode offers viewers a true insight into the realities of chasing big game. “Our team of Field Producers and Editors have worked very hard to come up with innovative and creative ways of advertising our Sponsors and their products,” stated Casey, the younger of the two brothers. “To see our efforts get recognized with such a prestigious award reassures us that we are on the right track and that we are connecting with people in a way that very few outdoor programs can match,” added Chris.

BackCountry Quest TV is produced in association with Rack Focus Outdoor Multimedia.

Black Bear Tour 2010June 9th, 2010

by Team BCQ

The BCQ TV crew just landed back in the United States after a 16 day Bear hunting adventure across Saskatchewan, Canada. The guys started out at Jim’s outfitting in Cumberland House and after losing 4 days to weather they walked away without any bears on the ground but still managed to catch some on the Reconyx Hyperfire and have a great time. Mother Nature still rules when it comes to that. Last year Chris and Casey both shot 300+ lb. bears.

After the first week the guys meet up with Chuck Keefer, Cody Keefer, Jared Crider, Matt Bretz and Gunnar Bretz for a trip up to Kane Lake Trophy Outfitters. The Keefer’s having been going to Kane Lake for 10 years and have had great hunts every year. This one was no exception! 5 out of 6 guys walked away with bears this year, Casey was the unlucky one to not get one but still saw lots of bears just not one he wanted to shoot.

Chris, Cody, Jared, Matt and Gunnar all Tagged out with Cody Shooting a GIANT!

Overall the BCQ TV crew had a great time and got lots of Great footage that will be airing this season on Sportsman Channel!

Kicking Beard 2010May 5th, 2010

by Team BCQ

Casey takes down a giant Kansas Gobbler.

The BCQ crew was invited to Kicking Beard II 2 weeks ago. Kicking Beard was started by Kicking Bear.  Kicking Bear helps get the hunters of tomorrow out hunting and fishing. The event was hosted at Locked Horn Outfitters. The event was a success and about 25 turkeys were killed. BCQ was able to get 8 of them on camera. The footage turned out great.

We showed up a few days ahead of time. After battling the wind, Casey was able to kill a nice Tom.  Then everyone started showing up for the Kicking Beard event.  Casey guided  Maria Dupertuis  to her first two turkey kills. One of them was a double beared Tom.  Casey also put Buck Horton on a Turkey.  Chris guided Doug Gilmer to a double, a Tom and a Jake.  There were also many more Turkey caught on tape. For more pictures, check us out on Facebook and Myspace.

Also, remember to TAKE A KID HUNTING!!!

We had a very successful hunt in South Dakota with Scott Butz from Reel Wing Decoys and Mike See from Patternmaster Chokes. The hunting was tough but we still managed to knock down 50+ birds. We also had a great time in the field and shot some sweet footage. Thank you Scott and Mike!
